look what one of my chickens laid! wow!

wow , what a egg! this is the biggest egg they have laid. i had to put a measuring tape by it so everyone could see. and i wanted to see exactly how long it was for myself. well editing it in photobuckt somehow cut off part of the pic. it is a little over 3 inches long!  D  bun:bun

:o Ouch is all I have to say........wow reminded me of how big my last human baby was.... a whopping 9lbs 11 oz.....ep

i don't know which hen laid it  roll  i haven't cracked it open either. i will let you know what i find though as soon as i do  jumpy

Me too okiechick-mine were: 9lbs 15oz
                                          10lbs 13 oz
                                          10lbs 5oz
                                           9lbs 9oz-this one was 4 weeks
                                                         premature!

I think I know how the hen feels!!!  barnie

I think some grapes or strawberry tops are in order for the whole hen house...either they laid it or had to listen to the carrying on of the one laying it!  lol
