This Cinder,
Got her from a friend of my brothers. Almost all her feathers on her neck and a few on the back were gone because one of the hens at the other place liked to pick feathers. She is doing a lot better. I can't wait for her molt, so that i can see how she looked before the feathers got pulled.

Post her photos, hopefully looking up so her comb type is visible and a standing profile photo - at "what breed or gender is this." you will get many opinions

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I agree with Chicken Girl1; Cinder looks like a Black Sex Link pullet which are very friendly and hardy, egg laying machines. I raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids), and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 large brown eggs per hen per year. You should get loads of eggs from Cinder.) I've posted a pic of two of my BSLs below. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.
