My hens are VERY spoiled! I feed them marshmallows. They LOVE marshmallows once you feed them a few. Once I was eating ice-cream and I had to collect eggs. I usually collect eggs around 5:30-6:00pm. Well, I couldn't leave my ice-cream inside.. since I have nosy dogs. So i had to bring my ice-cream with me. My hens were excited and decided to help me eat my ice-cream. I have VERY spoiled hens. :cd

My hen seems to want to sleep in her nesting box at night. It seems she is trying to lay during the day, doesn't finish when going to the coop, then just lays in her box instead of perching. I thought I read not to encourage sleeping in the box, though also read never to pull them out of it. I know I am messing up the cycle, but would like to kind of get an understanding of "normal " egg-laying behavior. What can I do to assist her?
