dosed them on their neck with .5 like it said on here  you know in that little syringe that is on that 1 ml syringe.. wasnt that the correct dosage/... they are stll stratching their ears or maybe its their face.... I am keeping vase, ine or olive oil on their legs at nite. seeing begiinning of raised scaley legs.... they hate it but i brush it on anyway... they keep picking mostly at their belly...I believe they are pulling out their feathers.....

so will that Exprinex take care of it eventually.? going to lime their walls of coop today. tok out the month old pine pellets last nite... If I hurry up and get walls limed today  hopefully can poutry dust coop again like Dawg does with the leafblower....

then going to put back up the painted 1/4 plywood hubby cut   cause I MADE MISTAKE of using old fencing to make walls of their coop... cant see mites so I know they are the microscopic ones.. Does that make their skin peel or is it part of molting???...The worse of its in that old coop with the 1 and 1/2 yr old group....

PLEASE advise.. will not use SEVIN dont even like poultry dust.. have used some 90 plus sulfur a little on them. They feather dust everyday... but they are still scratching...

Mine usually scratch their faces when they have live, and Eprinex won't treat lice.

you mean lice?   why if they  HAVE lice cant I see it???? isn't lice golden looking? they feather dust everyday.....Maybe they are sctatching their ears.. I stare at them  and cant really tell.. but I think its their ears...... cause I see them shake their heads more... and BABY Girls comb is lighter and she is so SKINNY now... def I am seeing some leg scale trying to start....

PLUS  when they molt DOES their skin peel????

Some lice are very small... My peafowl get lice on their faces that are so small that I have to put on reading glasses to see them, and these little lice love living in the ears, so put on a pair of reading glasses and look inside their ears. FYI, my peas dust bathe every day, but they still get lice. :idunno

Are you birds vaccinated for Marek's?

SO is it TOO EARLY to redose them with that Exprine.....or whatever its called?

heck I dont knowif they are vaccinated???? wish I would have asked....

I bought them from "Rural King "the youngest.group.... the Rooroo and Baby Girl from a local lady who bought straight runs from a major hatchery, and the two other  1  and  1/ 2 olds from Flea mkt lady who got the two from different people....

Naw dont need reading glasses got mono vision  ,my right eye is nearsighted enough to see w/ o glasses..... naw I get up in their faces daylight and on roost with strong flashlight..... remember I said scaley legs are starting..

so how can you tell the dif between ear lice and ear mites?

they also SCRATCH and pick on their Bellies and under wings the worse.... they seem to be scratching thir ears mostly

so how do I treat them?  remember I wont let Sevin etc even on this property....

Iwish I could dip them but even that woul be hard... and pray tell how would  treat their faces????? I bought some ear mite stuff for cats.....

i got two bags of 90 ( from on line) plus percent  pure sulfur

thsnk you   wish county ext agent were more for livestock.. this town is not as Rural as t was 20 years ago

when it rains it pours ...got egg problem girl shell still in her canal soft prob... and Baby Girl scratched around so much in a milk carton (took out their cedar nestbox) so made temp nestboxes hurriedly. her toes pads bled and its rainy and muddy today.....
