Hen not laying?!

I have 2 seven-month-old before buff Orpington hens and they haven't laid an egg until today, where one of them laid in egg sac just without the shell. I bought Oyster shells and put it in the regular feed and they eat it, but they still won't lay eggs except for today. What should I do? Is this normal?

Be patient. Pullets that come into lay in the fall take a while to mature. It's very normal to have shell-less eggs from first time layers, even when they are provided with calcium. Very rarely will they start laying on a regular basis. It takes time for all the parts of the egg laying system to start working together.

Thank you that's very reassuring! How often does it usually take?

It can vary from individual to individual. Some take a few days to get regular, others can take a few months. Both are completely normal.
