I found my sweet black copper Maran hen outside with a bunch of her feathers and skin gone. The only thing beside her was some string so I'm thinking maybe she was tangled in it but I'm not sure as there's also an odd bump on her back. She also won't put any weight on her opposite foot. As far as I know my coop is predator proof and none of the other birds were hurt . It happened sometime between when I opened the run for the morning and about two in the afternoon. I've been giving her aspirin for pain and stress relief electrolytes I'm treating the wound with the culmination of a burn cream and Vetericyn spray. She is eating on her own as long as I hold her up. My question:
1) what other treatment(s) would you recommend. I work from home and have lots of time to commit to her
2) I know it's a personal choice but based on the pics and her behaviour, do you think it's more humane to put her down?

First two pics are her as soon as I found her. Second two are today

Check pleas that she don't have a pricing wound to her body cavaty!
If she don't You need to wash the area withe warm water and antiseptic soap,
You should disinfect the area withe Iodine or some other disinfectant
And afterwords you should put on the wound some antibiotic ointment. Repeat this for 3 days and continue with the Iodine for 3 more dyes.
If you see that the wound is start to get some infection: oozing liquids or pus, and the chicken dose not improve you should give here some antibiotics orally!

She has been getting progressively better Eating and drinking on her own but still unable to stand ( i think it is her opposite ankle). This morning she looks terrible. she ate and drank a little when prompted but not as active as she had been, As far as I can tell there is no infection but the scab is starting to separate from her body which must be very painful. I have been treating her with germicidal spray and antibiotic ointment. She has been drinking chicken electrolytes and diluted asprin I have oral antibiotics available Should I give them to her^

it appears that she is having difficulty swallowing. Does that make any sense^ she picks at her food but i dont think anything is going down. thoughts^

This is her today. The scabs look like they are coming off. There is one black hard scab. She was great yesterday and she still tries to eat and drink but looks like hell. Help?

Treating with red kite, vetericibe, triple antibiotic cream, betadine. Oral vitamins
