For many years we have had a resident snake. His name is "bo ". He is a 6 foot bullsnake. Bo has never been aggressive towards my husband or I, my dogs or horses. He does not eat my eggs, or go after my poultry. Bo prefers to eat rodents in the coop area and rabbits in the garden. I'm wondering if this is common for this breed of snake? We sure welcome him around, and enjoy seeing him basking in the sun on our porch. He's welcome on the ranch, and we look forward to seeing him. He has grown a lot over the years.

Just goes to show that there is a place for ALL in nature.

I would not try to temp him with baby chicks though. Kind of opposite what the SNAKE DID TO ADAM AND EVE. lol

WISHING YOU BEST

Yes, I agree with you. I keep any babies inside the house or when outside they have a rabbit wire type coop area that snakes cannot get in:)
