And no, the rooster is an Easter Egger. I've never raised salmon feverolles, but I think they are so pretty, in fact I have them on my ''breeds I'd some day like to get'' list. Are they good layers/docile?
I could talk for hours about how much I love my faverolle girls. I can't believe he's an easter egger! He looks so similar to a faverolle rooster.

^Not mine

I have two faverolle girls and when I decided to get a rooster, I ordered a male faverolle chick from MPC along with a female buff chick. They came in perfect health and he was amazing. He was a little aggressive at first, but was easily trained out of it. He developed sooo fast. He had a huge comb and pretty big waddles are just 6 weeks old and was attempting to crow as well. Unfortunatley, their brooder was in the garage and it was left open one night and a racoon got in and killed them both. I miss them so much and will never forget little Arnold & Penny. I ended up getting another rooster, a beautiful easter egger boy named Daryl.

Here's a few pics of my faverolle girls. They are incredible and full of personallity. Tot makes me laugh every day. She's built very short and wide so when she walks/runs, she waddles like a penguin. She grew up thinking she was a rooster and before Daryl came, she crowed! She talks constantly to me, follows me around, is very easy to pick up, and lays daily, plus Tot is a perfect representation of her breed for a hatchery chick. Her sister, April, is also very docile but not as personable. She lays every other day, but has stopped with the light decrease (Tot is still going though). April has spots on her chest, which isn't normal for the breed so she wouldn't be one that I would breed but I still think she's gorgeous. They are towards the bottom of the pecking order, but they are everyone's favorites. What's weird though, is as chicks, they were both very nervous, skittish, and Tot was even aggressive!

Me & my best friend's sophomore homecoming photos. Tot is everyone's favorite.

Sorry to hear you lost Arnold and Penny. I think I see a few Faverolles in my flocks future. They are such pretty birds, and they are a rare breed too.

And yes, that EE rooster looks a lot like a Fav, except for the clean legs and pea comb. Daryl is handsome rooster!
