We picked these two up from the Co-Op as day olds. Both strait run. We have no idea what we have. They should be about 8weeks now. I'm not sure if the video link will work. What do you think pullets or roo's?

My guess is that the one with the white head is a rooster. They are still too young to say for certain but that's my guess as of now. Love their voices!

My husband thinks the white head (Houdan) is a girly and the Silverlaced Polish is a male... I'm thinking the opposite or both roo's.
Someone started to try to crow this morning about 6 am. Which means the roo will be rehomed as soon as we can figure out who is doing it. GoPro in the coop until we can figure it out.
We have two Wyandottes we're keeping separate for now as these guys are still pretty small.

They are so darn stinkin' cute, - keep both of them.. I think the polish may be the boy but it's just a guess. Maybe Yorkshire Coop will drop in (raises polish) and give her opinion.

Well, turns out the Houdan (white head) is definitely a roo.
He was caught crowing today by both my husband and I.

Not sure about the Polish yet.

It's possible that they are both Roo's.

We talked to our neighbors they're being super cool. They say they love them and haven't heard them except when they go out to smoke. They're being extremely supportive. We'll rehome him (or both if the polish is a roo too) but for now they're pretty bonded and can't mix with the big girls yet. Our Wyandotte took a couple good hits at him.
