My husband laughed at me when I told him I found a chicken at the side of the road that was about to bolt into traffic. This was partially because it was central Phoenix, partly that we just got seven chicks to go with our three hens and he said we had enough, and partly that of all the real life jokes I stumbled across it was his one. Here he is. We named him Rooster Gold... Yes, we're nerds. He is the sweetest thing, gorgeous and I am having trouble telling what breed he is. Anyone want to help me out on this one?
