Garage hen

I have 6 girls and one roo. One of my hens named droopy has been beat up by the rooster to the point of bleeding. She has choose to befriend my cat and dog and live in my garage. She follows them everywhere and will not go with the other chickens. My dog and cat like her but is there to introduce her back to the chickens? She hasn't laid eggs since the first time she was hurt. Any suggestions?

:welcome  I would not try to return her to the flock as long as you have the rooster.  This type of behavior can escalate to the point of the hen being killed.

How do handle an aggressive rooster?

Eat him... lol...

Seriously, he needs to go... aggressive roosters are no good, especially when they are beating up a hen...
