Quote: hello guys,
the weirdest thing happened to me this morning.
I woke up to a commotion this morning at 2:15am, when firstly the dog woke me up and then I herd my rooster carrying on. I opened the door to let the dog out thinking that a fox or wild dog trying to get my chickens, and my dog bolted straight down to the chicken pen. where I am thinking good if that was a fox the dig would of scared it off. then I remembered that their only one chicken that lives in the pen (as the others are in the other pen as it has 3 lots of fencing around it) the rooster was in the pen where their was commotion. and the rooster sleeps on top of the pen in the tree. then I thought that It could not of been a fox as the pen is 3 metres off the ground.
****! I must of been a snake or a goanna. As soon as it was light enough for me to go outside, I went searching for any remains of the rooster. as if it was a goanna it would of left some feathers or something. I spent ages looking for any remains, I searched everywhere over 5 acres. It must of been a snake and a huge on to, fro it to be able to swallow a fully grown rooster who was quite big
.
I came back inside and did some research about snakes, I found that if a snake has had a big meal it will only go in a 5 metre radius of where it got it food from. And once it has eaten its food (depending on how big it is) you have 24 hours o have any chance of finding this snake before it strikes again or it goes on the run.
so today is the day go snake hunting and try to catch this snake an take it 25km away*.
*they say if you take a snake 25km or further it will not find it was back.
I still don't know what snake it is or where is it.
if you have experienced anything similar or have anything to ask reply
