Yeah she is a confused pigeon, currently she is paired up with another female. :idunno Oh and she is the one in my avatar pic.

17 pigeons, 15 coturnix quail, 2 roos, 6 hens. Also 5 drakes, a CCL roo that thinks he's a drake, a fat bearded dragon and 2 angora rabbits.

 

Current projects are Cinnamon Legbars (chocolate gold), chocolate/brown pigeons and silver/brown coturnix quail. My next project is a dark chocolate colored chicken with deep red/gold base that lays bright green eggs. Yes, I like the color brown.

Pigeons do best seeming in performance breeds keep, on layer especially for breeding,mixed with corn/scratch in winter breeding, mixing in or switching to a good wild bird mix with multi grain scratch. Pigeons prefer swuare perches, n cement or brick perches, being better for their feet n more natural (they are rock cavedwellers in wild islands).

keeping assorted bantams and standard chickens..    pigeons: "white dove release" racing homers, flying flights, flying birmingham rollers, parlor rollers, parlor tumblers, "coop tumblers", Chinease owls.

    Looking to talk to others who enjoy our pigeon/dove hobby.  Also looking to talk chickens, especially black bantam true rosecombs i hope to have again someday, as well as silkies, and...
