Buff cross and rock cross are they roost, and what are the clues. Doesn't the buff have the different feathers? Thanks a newbie from MO [IMG][IMG]

The barred bird is a cockerel.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Thanks, they were both supposed to be pullets. Oh well, being new someone passed the buff cockerel off on me. It was old enough two months ago they should have known. The Barred was two young to really know. Now they have to go.

I was pretty sure they were, but I am still new to chickens as this is my first batch. Unfortunately, I don't need more roos as I only have 14 hens. I have a RIR roo since nine of the hens are reds. Three Barred rock pullets and two buff/EE crosses it was supposed to be three. Oh well, since I don't know how to process craigslist it is for them unless I should keep the buff instead.
