Hello all of you chicken experts out there!!! I have a 12 week old "bonus" chick who I've come to believe is a Rhode Island Red and who I believed was a hen. Until this curly tail feather popped up within the last week. Her comb is still small and both comb and wattles are still yellow, but I thought the tail feather looked suspiciously roo-ish in nature. What do you think???? Just a fancy tail feather on a pretty pullet? Or is my favorite girl really a boy?
