Yes, you bake it and then you can paint it, but the clay also comes in a bunch of different colors, so many people just use the colored stuff so they can skip the painting part. I decided to paint mine so I could add more detail. It was very fun to work with!

Thanks again! He's definitely the one that took the longest to sculpt, and second longest to paint with his small details. I accidentally ended up burning his fishing pole a bit in the oven because it was so small and thin!
