Cheap and easy extra temporary waterers and feeders

Hi! Here are my four adult hens and my four pullets and one cockerel. Also, here you can see how I turn empty milk gallon containers into extra water and feed containers for my chickens. Since my older hens and young ones have separate living spaces for now, I needed more water containers and feeders, temporarily. I put a rock in the feeders so they don't knock them over. Every time I have another empty milk container, I improve on my design a little, with the size, shape, and height of the hole I cut. You could also tie the jug to something by its handle, so it can't fall over. It works out pretty well!

Good idea on repurposing the milk jugs. Thanks for sharing pictures of your flock.
