I was in the same boat you are.... I finally found a guy that had seven left and I got two of them. Then that day I found these guys they were being sold in the feed store as assorted Bantams. I saw their floofy heads (they were a lot fluffier before all the petroleum jelly) and their pasty butts and I couldn't pass them up. It was not until after I got back to my office with them and saw that silly fifth toe that I realized what I got! There was a beautiful grey one that I wish I would have gotten. I went back a few hours later and someone had bought him. So now I have one white silkie and six buff/partridge ones.... Which I hate to say is my least favorite of the colors! I would give my left arm and leg for a splash they are sooooooooooooooooooo pretty!
