I just joined, but have gone to get answers over the last few years, from Backyard chickens. I just purchased 16 chicks, they are unknown because I got them on sale. I hope you all can help me figure out what I have. I have 5 black ones, 5 buff ones and 6 yellow ones. I am posting a picture. thanks for your help

Hello :frow and welcome to BYC!

Welcome to BYC -- as I said in your other thread it would be helpful if you shared which hatchery the birds came from (if you ordered direct from the hatchery) and also whether you purchased sexed chicks or straight run (this will come into play with the black birds with head spots)

The chicks are cute little fuzzballs but it is awfully early to try and sex them - except in breeds where color or other identifiers are present at hatch. Generally 6-8 weeks is the best for more accurate assessments.

Thanks everyone for the welcome, I really enjoy my chicken and raising babies is my favorite part, to see their different personalities emerge with the other chicks.
