French black copper maran barely laying - Page 2

i would say it was a 6 on that color scale and the second one was a six with really dark speckles on it (like a welsummer egg but darker). No she's not molting, and yes i suppose i should be patient with her and be glad that she has even started laying this year. :bow   :D

well yesterday i got my 3rd egg in 3 weeks and caught one of my roosters eating it!!!! I am still convinced that she is only laying one a week but i suppose i will have to do away with the rooster in order to find out for sure! :he:barnie
