Araucana? Age? Sex?

Thread Starter

Hi! Picked this up at a produce store the other day. Told it is an araucana. Not certain about the age. Would like to know any clues on sex. As we are in a suburban area, we can't keep roosters... Is it actually an araucana? Also, how old is it?

Thanks!!

Body shape

Side view. Long neck, full crop.

Blurry head. Shows legs.

Front of head.

Thank sin advance!

Doubtful it is true Araucana, as those are usually only available from a breeder... has a tail and see no tufts either...
Way too young to be able to tell gender... maybe post a pic again in a few weeks...

Agreed!

Definitely not true Araucana...no pea comb, has tail, and no tufts/muffs...looks very young, if I HAD to guess, I'd say about 4 weeks (give or take a week)...

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
