She just got done laying and i have been wanting to hear my hens sing the chicken egg laying song. Made it just in time she pushed it out and didnt even make a sound or a peep. Is that normal?

Yep, they sing their song after laying, not immediately though - guess its an energy consuming business so they need to catch their breath and leave the nest (usually) before giving it the decibels.

I'm honestly not sure - maybe she is beginning to go broody?

Not every chicken cackles after laying, lower ranking hens will lay than leave, I have watched many hens throw bedding on their backs after laying, I think it's a desire to cover the eggs afterwards even though they have left the nest. Younger hens will sometimes do goofy behaviors and as they get older it becomes more normal.
