It looks so horrible; I think the white stuff is her poop? I'm going to try it again today.

Hopefully it'll stay in, and she gets better. Thanks all for advice!

Here's the picture of it now:

Doesn't look too bad IMO, clean it up with gentle soap and water - sit her 'in the tub' again! After cleaning Prep H and the magic finger routine.  As others have noted you may have to do this several times. :fl

I really don't know. I repeated the bath/reinserting thing 5 times; each time the insides come out more slowly. But eventually they do pop back out. She's lost weight, and I don't know if anything will help. Maybe this is a case where there's nothing we can do.

Live on a 50-cow dairy farm. Have a 30-count flock; includes Buff Orpingtons, Turkens, Leghorns, Rhode Island mixes, and a Black Australorp. Enjoy hunting, drawing, writing, playing the guitar, and nature activities. Believe in God and His Son Jesus Christ. And I love BYC!

I guess you just have to persist. If it comes out more slowly each time, it would suggest to me, that it is improving slowly.

:ya      It's been a week, and it slowly has been getting smaller. And just yesterday, it went back in by itself! Oh, I'm so happy!

Excellent news!  As you know, it may well happen again when she's laying, so be vigilant! :weee
