Doesn't look too bad IMO, clean it up with gentle soap and water - sit her 'in the tub' again! After cleaning Prep H and the magic finger routine. As others have noted you may have to do this several times.

I really don't know. I repeated the bath/reinserting thing 5 times; each time the insides come out more slowly. But eventually they do pop back out. She's lost weight, and I don't know if anything will help. Maybe this is a case where there's nothing we can do.

I guess you just have to persist. If it comes out more slowly each time, it would suggest to me, that it is improving slowly.
