I have a cuckoo Easter egger cockerel (heterozygous) and I will be getting a splash wheaten hen soon. I plan on breeding her with my wheaten. Roos and then breeding some of the blue wheaten hens with the cuckoo roo. The end goal? Wheaten ameraucanas with cuckoo patterning. What do you all think? Any idea on a better name for the color? I know it will take years of hard work and many generations to get where I want them to be.
