A few ways I tell at this age is their combs, if they are all the same age and breed look to see which combs and waddles are bigger and redder as a comparisons. Along with posture (how they stand) is their breast held higher than most others.

Even though the white spot on the head made me think roo I think it isn't the case with this breed correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is a pullet.
 
What I am finding is a white spot on the head of a barred rock can actually mean pullet. This was one of the ones I was leaning toward pullet on.
 
All barred Rock chicks have a white spot on the head when they hatch. it's linked to the barring gene. Males have two copies of that gene, so the spot is larger, fuzzier edges, less distinct. Females have one copy and have smaller, tighter head spots.

Black sex link are where the males have a white spot and females are solid dark.
