Oh thank goodness. That's what I was hoping.
I work for a rescue and she was handed in as a stray but I think she has been mistreated as she was very hand shy and had a scarred face.
I am making progress. She no longer sounds like she is being murdered when I pick her up and I don't get pecked as much. I have become rather attached to her and was dreading her being a cock as I would not have been able to keep her.
