My chicken hatched her first clutch of eggs on Labor day. The babies are doing fine, running around with the flock.

Congratulations on the successful hatch.
It can depend on the individual chicken. My bantams are normally around the 5-6 weeks after the hatch date.

I figured about 6 weeks maternity leave for her. Rooster was chasing her yesterday, so maybe she will be back in egg laying mode soon.
That was the first sign I saw that she would be laying soon.
