For info only, I started my two hens on pellets, went fine, switched to the crumbles, I thought they were just tearing that food up, had to refill weekly, checked the coop, most was on the floor, guess they were slinging it out, went back to pellets, food is now lasting several weeks, maybe it's just mine but they sure wasted most all crumbles.
