How big should the pophole be for my Maran hens? The coop part of my chicken tractor is 2'deepx4widex2 1/2' tall. There is a 1 1/2' x 4' shade area under the coop and the rest will be the run.

10wx12h or 12x12 will let them go through without having to duck and crouch when they are full grown. Marans and most other dual purpose breeds that get up to about 7-8 lbs live weight should easily fit through a door of that size. If you think you would ever get bigger chickens like Jersey Giants, you should make it bigger now. There's nothing wrong with having a door bigger than needed vs going back later and making a small door bigger.
