I have cooked some brown rice in a pan and then left it to cool in a bowl, I look at it now and it seems to have little bits of something stuck to each of the bits of rice. Is that fine ? I am worried if that stuff is supposed to come off while cooking ? Also the rice is about one year old, is it okay ? Please tell me the truth, I have fed my chicks a few pinches worth of rice because i was worried if it was dangerous.
