Large Eggs.

This morning, our Buffy (Amore, in my avatar) laid an unusually large egg. I think its a egg with twin yolks.  Heres a picture of it compared to her average size eggs

The smaller egg is our Austrolorps egg, but the buffy's eggs are about the same size.

Is it a twin egg? I have never seen on before.

:yiipchick:thumbsup:cd

we havent used it yet.

:welcome  It may very well be a double yolk egg.  You will know when it hits the frying pan.

When our girls first started laying we got a lot of double yolk eggs. Haven't gotten one in a while and sure miss them. I always thought they were fun. When giving eggs to family and friends I liked including a double yolker in the carton.
