Hello all! I have been coming onto this site for a while now, and finally am in need of your opinions smile.png I have had 2 beautiful ladies for 18 months now and last week adopted 3 chicks (a friend also adopted 3), which we have fallen inlove with! I have been trying to figure out their sex all week, 4 are just over 5 weeks and 2 are just over 4 weeks. Any thoughts? I think 4/5 are male, hoping not all of them!

They are my friends 3 at 5ish weeks

These are ours, the top one is the older chick

Our pretty ladies pretending not to notice our new additions!

Howdy Tiakaiya and Welcome to BYC

Those are some cute little ones you have there.  I am definitely not an expert when it comes to sexing young ones but some of yours have some fairly impressive combs for 5 week olds.

Just my humble opinion but in your top picture, I am thinking all males.  In the bottom picture, I am thinking male on the top left, pullet on the bottom left and I am undecided on the one on the right.

Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.
