HTChick
In the Brooder
So my pretty chickies are 17 weeks or so now and out of my five little penguins, one was a roo and four were hens lucky me. So one of the hens had been looking a little different, head not quite as dainty, smaller comb and body looking like she was going to out grow the others. Then I realized that the webs between her tows were yellow unlike the others and when I picked her up, so were the bottoms of her feet. I had forgotten this comment but when I went to look it up, voila! Thank you, I have a lovely Jersey Giant in the midst of my mixed brood! Those are either going to be black jersey giants or australorps. Something about the bottoms of there feet if its yellow its jersey giants i think if pink its australorps or vise versa.
