McMurray Assortment Chick Guessing Fun

Those are either going to be black jersey giants or australorps. Something about the bottoms of there feet if its yellow its jersey giants i think if pink its australorps or vise versa.
So my pretty chickies are 17 weeks or so now and out of my five little penguins, one was a roo and four were hens lucky me. So one of the hens had been looking a little different, head not quite as dainty, smaller comb and body looking like she was going to out grow the others. Then I realized that the webs between her tows were yellow unlike the others and when I picked her up, so were the bottoms of her feet. I had forgotten this comment but when I went to look it up, voila! Thank you, I have a lovely Jersey Giant in the midst of my mixed brood!

Updates on the penguins. I can see differences now. As one of you said, black chicks all look alike. Going to like whatever thay are!

These turned out to be black Australorps and one black Jersey Giant (she is getting bigger and has yellow feet pads).

Through the day I am going to post some updated pics of some of my chicks which are now nearly 4 weeks old. Still have all of them and they are doing so well, I am thrilled. We are working on their outside yard today. Going to use a large igloo dog house for a temporary coop so that we can get them outsides on nicer days. Weather is variable this time of year here in west Texas, still have some warm pretty days though naturally today is a very brisk chilly wind for the people to work in.

Here are a beautiful pair, pretty sure hen and roo but I have no idea of breed. They are among the largest in the flock. Sweet and docile.

These are Pioneer.
