What Breed/Sex is Pingu

The barred chicken is Pingu.

I think Pingu is male but I.m not sure what breed.

Any ideas?

If female: Barred Rock or Barred Holland
If male: Black sex-linked rooster (single barred)

Probably Barred Plymouth Rock or Cuckoo Marans cockerel.

Cuckoo Marans have white legs, this one is yellow (only way I could tell my Cuckoo Marans from my Barred Holland's when they were younger

). It is single barred which makes it a mix-breed, if it is male. Most likely black sex-link male (RIR rooster x Barred Rock hen).

If it is a male you could cross him with a RIR hen then do some selective breeding to get a Rhodebar (red-barred chicken). It is one of my future projects.

This is Tilly who I'm fairly sure is a Leghorn and fairly sure is a cockerel

All birds pictured look to be cockerels.

Pingu is a mixed breed. One barred or cuckoo parent, the other looks to maybe have been silver unless he has red leakage coming through.

I agree about Pingu. The white one is not a white leghorn and seems to be a cockerel also.
