well ,,, i know almost everyone has heard bout my blind roo and how he protects the babies by attacking anything that makes them cry,,, well , i finally got a pic of him outside at night with the babies under him, on him, and him jus plain being a dad smile and thats almost 100 chicks he's trying to keep warm wink

Aw, what a softie!

2 Australorps (5 years old), 1 White rock(4 years old), 3 dogs, and an eclectus parrot living in a small urban city. until you pick a chick up and it cries,, he goes toward the cry, and the first thing he bumps into ends up with a chunk out of it,,lol,, man i have let that roo bite me, flog me, he once tore a chunk outta me,,hehe,, man the things we do to keep our birds happy wink

after i take the chicks you can see and put them in their coop,, ya look at him and he has like 20 pairs of little legs under him lol
then after i get most of them, i open his wings and take out another dozen or so,, its the ONLY time he allows us to mess with the chicks lol wink

most wonderful DH in the world, 3 boys, 2 labs, 2 cat, 1 rabbit,  3 gold fish  , 5 hens and 1 mystery chick, 22 meaties.
