There are several variables that can come into play for this -

what breed is the hen?

how old is she and was she reported to be actively laying prior to the move?

are there other birds she has been integrated with or is she alone?

Where are we going, and why are we in this hand basket?

My hen is a Production Red.

She is a young hen about 4-6 months, reportedly started laying her first eggs.

There are other birds 4 hens and two cockerels.
