MPC insists this is a "hen". - Page 2

Cockerel.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay. --Robert Frost

Thank you all! I'll be pasting the link to this post in my next e-mail to MPC to indicate to them that the consensus here at BYC is definitely that this chick is a cockerel.

Ooh, I hope my facetious post doesn't mess you up with them!!  I ain't smart enough to know one from the other when they are this young so I just tossed in a contrary opinion.

I do not believe it's going to be a problem, Blooie.

But then, your inexpert opinion seems to equal the aptitude of their Meyer Hatchery chick sexers.
