Dulcolax confusion.........BEWARE.

The dosage is 2 capsules. This is a picture below of First States Vet Supply crop bound capsules. It is thought to be doccusate sodium (Colace,) even though it looks to be a repackaged drug with no strengths or ingredients on the label. Here is a thread to read about the subject:

Hello everyone, I'm Ralph (from France).
Please help, I gave to my hen the wrong Dulcolax (bisacodyl), and
a big quantity. Her crop was impacted, and now it seems to be completely
blocked (due to the contraction effect of bisacodyl) and all her body seems hard now!!!
What should I do?

Hello everyone, I'm Ralph (from France).
I gave to my hen the wrong Dulcolax (bisacodyl) for crop impactation!!!
And now her crop seems to be blocked due to the contration effect of bisacodyl,
and even all her body became hard (almost like a stone)!!!
What should I do???

I would try to get her drinking plenty of water. Massage the crop several times daily. I am not an expert on crop impaction, but if you get her rehydrated with fluids, it may improve. Here is some reading anount.
