hi. im Armin and i live in Iran. i would really appreciate if you could help me find out what breed of chicken i have
her name is Julie.
she is very calm and loves to be cuddled. never moves away from human and shes very easy to be picked up (well u know what i mean) . and i think she is very old and she has not laid any single egg yet.(old chickens don't lay eggs?). she is very quiet during the day ( except in the morning!) and her voice is bold like a duck or something, but very lovely , from what i read here about faverolles, she really matches with their characteristic and looks but she has 4 fingers so im confused... ( here only polish, sultan , brahmas and some other types are known to the bird shops i went and nobody seems to be knowing about faverolles)
i saw her 2 months ago in a rural shop that sold chicken for their meat and she was in a very bad condition so i decided to buy her and keep her as a pet. i bought her about 8$ ( very cheaper than i expected , maybe because she was old?)
she got cold recently but we cured her and now shes good, but it seems like she lost weight, to me.
i give her proper food ( all that was mentioned in the website ) and try to keep her happy but i am very new to keeping chickens and im still learning.
she has 4 fingers ( faverolles have 5 right?)
her coop (made in house! took 2 days for me and my dad)
we keep her there only at nights or when its raining.
she sometimes takes a nap just like that on the swing
