I did not get these as day olds like my others so I can only estimate the age at 6-8 weeks. But I have a feeling this one might be a roo?? Can anyone give me an opinion?

Given the size and redness of its comb and wattles at only 6-8 weeks, I think you have a cockerel.

I'm thinking cockerel, too.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay. --Robert Frost

Thanks for posting. It further illustrates the difficulties of sexing chicks at those young ages. :o)
