Big e poultry congress MA

So glad to find this thread! I'll be there with several friends. It's been a few years since I've gone - does anybody know if Friday or Saturday is the best day to go (sales-wise)? Also, does anybody know of any muscovy breeders that might have birds available for sale?
I am glad this thread is going somewhere!

Also, did you purchase any chickens while you were there? If so, did they have any problems?

Over the years I've brought home a few birds and my friends have too. I've only ever brought home roos - one was a Silky, and one was a bantam Cochin. Both were fantastic - healthy, friendly, beautiful, and very appropriate with the flock when I got them home. Friends picked up slightly more exotic fare - button quails, guinea hens, and I think some laying hens but I don't remember what breeds.

Highly recommended even if you go just to look around. Plus, what else is there to do in New England in January. ;)

We were just there! It's SO cool!! So many breeds, and they were all beautiful! Very reccomended
