Thank you very much, I wasn't questioning how you knew I wanted to understand myself 😊. We will have to replace these lovely roosters with hens and start again as now I have your help for guidance. Will they continue to grow?

At 5 months old, they're basically as large as they're going to get. They may fill out and get a touch heavier, but pretty much what you see now is what you get. They do look to have some Leghorn or game blood, something pretty light bodied, so I don't think they'll get much heavier.

 

Sorry you wound up with roosters your first go round. Getting sex link chicks can help boost your odds of getting all females--just don't pick the odd looking chick out of a bin, that's usually the Oops rooster! or buying grown birds can help with sexing. If you're at all unsure of genders, feel free to post pics here before you purchase the birds and we can give you input.
