I bought six chickens to start my flock, and I'm sure that 3 are production RIR, 2 are possibly Red Sex-links, and the last was described as a RIR and Brown Leghorn mix. I got them on 10/20, and moved them in that evening. They seem to have taken to their new environment rather quickly. If anyone can confirm or deny the identity of these birds, I would very much appreciate it. Here's a picture of their new home (5'x8' coop, 8'x16' run), and a video of the girls...

Sorry... I was thinking about the picture when I named the video. DOH!!!

The large chickens are correctly labeled as RIR and Red Sex Link The 2 smaller ones,,,,,, The darker one looks like a Game hen to me. And the lighter one may very well be the Brown leghorn Mix.

WISHING YOU BEST

Sorry... I double-posted. I didn't realize the first post had to go through moderation, and thought I'd done something wrong, so I posted it again. I now know that once I get through the "probation" period, my posts will load immediately. I asked for admin to delete the prior post which was actually my second attempt to post, but it showed up anyway.

Max will be proud to know what you think of him. He's 4 years old, and though the video makes him look slender and small, he weighs over 100 lbs is 26" at the shoulder. Sweetest dog I've ever owned, at least towards me and the Mrs. Strangers... not so much. His sister is not as brave as Max, but she's quick to alert Max of anything unusual.

Oh... did I mention I have chickens, too? LOL!!!
