Help chick is about a week old and looks like this. What is it?

It looks as though it's eyes were pecked or stung. Fowl pox from mosquitoes or ant bites could be possibilities. Have you seen anyone pecking him, or any blood? Other chicks will sometimes peck at bright shiny eyes. When you can get the eyes open you will want to clean them with Vetericyn eye wash, eye gel, or saline. If you don't use Vetericyn, then you can get Terramycin eye ointment, and use it twice a day.
