? if it's an egg yolk infection.  That green doesn't look normal.

Aw I'm so sorry about your chick :(  It does look like an infection, nothing you could have done to prevent it. Poor little one...Sounds like you got quite a few healthy fuzzballs though! Do you have any still hatching? What was the final count?

6/9 have hatched, weird egg dead, last two beginning to zip! As long as it goes smoothly, 8/9 will be here
