[IMG]I know little about this one. I do know it is a golden Narragasette (SP).
Can anyone tell me if hen / tom or age???
Or any tips. Currently looking for buddies. However he/she has adopted the chickens and protects them from everything.
Thank you!

It looks like a hen to me.  You can check Porter's site to have some to compare against.

Welsummers, mixed breed chickens, Blue Slate turkeys, Sweetgrass turkeys and guineas.

In wonderful Wyoming.

Hi Oneoddhen, welcome to BYC. Did she just show up on your property? She's beautiful.

You have a hen. She is so cute! :)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Yes she did. I bit worn and hungry, but in good spirits.

Is she living with your chickens? Do you have a pen or coop for her? And...most importantly, have you found her a boyfriend yet? smile.png

She stays in  the coop with the chickens and free ranges during the day. She seems right at home. Follows everyone around the yard. Herds cats and dogs away from the group.

Currently trying to find a Tom without any luck so far or one that does not cost 100 bucks. Grr.

She is well taken care of and spoiled like the chickens.
