Looks like two blue Orp pullets to me
The second bird definitely had a "better" color. The darker shade, with the lacing on the edges is what's desired for a good blue color. The first bird is kind of on that border between blue and splash.
after breeding some blue mixed breed birds, I have a lot of respect for folks who get that nice color with good lacing. My blue birds have been all over the place as far as color.
For backyard birds, they're lovely and will be a great flock for you. Were you breeding blue Orpingtons, you probably would not want to use the first bird unless she developed some stellar type, etc that compensated for her less than ideal color. And that may well be why the seller sold her to you, if the seller is breeding quality birds she'll sell the birds she doesn't want to breed as backyard layers. It's a nice way for you to get a nice looking bird!
