6000 yen later it turns out it was the result of a jungle rat bite.
caught the rat and relocated her to a new grid square...
Wow, big rat. Unfortunately I find one rat usually has friends, so keep an eye out.
glad you caught that rat but are you sure it is not dry pox? it does not look like a bite. btw that rat would have killed chicken - my opinion. I have pox in my flock, looks like that.6000 yen later it turns out it was the result of a jungle rat bite.

It was lab tested and not Pox. Cleared up a week later. The rest of the chickens and my Raptors did not catch anything. All is good

ok then. it wouldn't clear up so fast if it was pox.

That looks like the best ever way to catch rats, nice.
