Black Australorp Rhode Island red Cross?

Thread Starter

I recently got a Black Australorp (spelling?) rooster and I have Rhode Island Red hens and I am wondering what that mix would look like.  I would be very interested in your chickens and if you have Polish Black Australorp mixes either that would be cool. :pop I can't

wait to put some of their eggs in the bator and see what I get

Thanks   :D.

Black is dominant to pretty much everything else, so you'd likely end up mostly with black offspring, possibly with a couple touches of red here and there.

This. The females could look a lot like black sex link hens. The males would have red leakage mostly hackles, saddle feathers and wing bows.
