NO ONE ANSWERS ME ABOUT GIVING HER MORE ANTIOBIOTICS....No cause that all I have.... that feed is almost gone.. plus she gets other grains... human grains fermented..... but I may stop doing fermenting

Yesterday they would NOT  eat that expensive organic feed wet yesterday cause they prob like the taste of slightly fermented feed  better...

I  opened the corn and gave them that plus millworms yesterday plus some peanuts.....

I got that expensive natural CEH cream yesteray. that "canoechic "told of that A RAPTOR RESCUE  place here in KY uses... Gotta put it on her and vetwrap and chicken bootie her foot....

If I try to confine her she goes to pieces.....

Gave her coopmates a dose of that VERAFLOX last nite,too....Hubby went round and emptied all puddles. I dumped out all the water containers that were rainwater that she could possibly get into. PLUS its going to rain today AGAIN....

I don't know what to tell you about the antibiotic. I have never used an antibiotic on my chivkens and never will.

So you are forcing the chickens to finish the bag of feed?

What is wrong with buying them a bag of regular chicken feed?

Okay what would you give if not antiobitics when she clearly by reading symptoms has an infection.? We are also treating her for her maybe bumblefoot. with that special EXPENSIVE" CEH" cream that was mentioned on here. That U of K uses in their RAPTOR RESCUE program

I bet yall that feed is not bad,,,,,, not much left anyway. there is no date on the feed only the MILO..... I told yall cant get NON soy food around here.....

Baby Girl was sick first. I didnt seperate her and she prob gave it to the rest of them. we have HER in the house now monitoing her. we have given her two more does of that VERAFLOX.... and her two other hens. I guess we should have started on the antiobitics instead of Corrid.cause like someone mentioned on here the vet(NOT AVIAN) said there wasnt a whole lot of the Cocc stuff in her poo

so why is the FEED suddenly suspicious.?.... Yall know these places sell it till its gone on the shelves.....

I bet Baby girl ate something she found that was old...or drink from some puddle with all that rain we had while back     or she has something going on with NOT laying eggs since her practice eggs of a year ago....

NO one talks about their peeling skin.. prob a fungus  passed around

I wish we could have taken Goldie Girl too  to vet too. but we couldnt catch her before we were leaving for the just got hold of vet  long way away..

From a dog/cat vet website:

Quote:
Any number of antibiotics can be used to remove Clostridium perfringens. Some choices include: ampicillin, amoxicillinmetronidazoleerythromycin, and tylosinTetracycline was formerly on the list but too much resistance has developed. If Clostridium perfringens is responsible for the diarrhea, a response to antibiotics is generally seen in a couple of days. A total antibiotic course of several weeks is typical.
